Sally Shepherd, owner of Eve and Adam Beauty Clinic in St Albans had been with her existing merchant services provider for many years, but had little communication with them. One of the concerns Sally had over her card machine was that there had never been a review of the cost-effectiveness of the solution. She was also concerned that the machine was becoming out-dated.

Sally posted on a local business Facebook group, asking for recommendations to someone who could advise her on card machine contracts.

Upgrading card payment terminals

The salon had one card terminal, which did not require any integration with stock control as product sales were dealt with by the staff through a separate process.
